Leadership Development Business Partner (12 month FTC)

About The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Leadership Development Business Partner to join the Society.  

The Society’s approach to people development centres on building diverse talent, reducing reliance on buying experienced talent and providing resilience from the external market changes. Our overall aim as an L and D function being to support the achievement of our strategic priorities by helping to ensure that learning is effective and leads to performance change. Equipping our leaders and managers to be the best they can be is vital in achieving our ambitions in a growing organisation committed to personal growth.

You will support the design and delivery of a leadership development curriculum framework and topics (on-line and face to face) ensuring these are of the  highest standard.  You will need to ensure that the existing learning content is operating effectively and where necessary, design new content for the leadership population and bespoke solutions where required.

The remit is broad from leadership induction through to senior talent development. You will guide, advise and challenge senior leaders, including Executive Team members and work closely with the HR business partnering team in particular who will want to access your expertise to help improve the capability of our managers and leaders.

About You

The successful individual will be an experienced leader, with significant know-how in engaging and influencing senior leaders, stakeholders and HRBPs to identify organisational leadership development capability issues (current and future).

Your ability to provide leadership capability consultancy to senior management and HR Business Partners will be key and hand in hand with this, experience influencing senior leaders, often challenging the solutions they have already identified.

You will have a deep subject matter expertise in creating and managing leadership development solutions at a strategic / organisational level.– whilst ensuring we embed our aim of ensuring learning leads to performance change.

Comfortable and credible in front of a senior audience you will be able to add value to the wider HR team, beyond the confines of your role.

You will have experience of matrix managing internal providers of development content and external suppliers.

You can expect a varied and often heavy workload, so the ability to ensure delivery on time, to a high standard using your project management experience will be important. 

You will demonstrate an exemplar level of  our CARES values and you are likely to be educated to degree level or equivalent.
