Executive Assistant

About The Role

We are currently looking for an Executive Assistant to provide first class support to and on behalf of the Chief Operating Officer. Given the changing nature of the Executive landscape, the COO will rely on the Executive Assistant for flexibility and foresight, while maintaining confidences across operational business functions.

The job holder will:

  • Have a primary responsibility of supporting the COO, as well as providing support to the wider Executive team as directed to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished
  • Research and draft Executive level papers using Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Advise and influence senior leaders on behalf of the COO
  • Have the ability communicate at all levels alongside liaise with internal and external Executives on various projects and tasks
  • Organise and attend meetings and ensure the COO is well prepared
  • Plan and manage the COO’s diary and daily commitments
  • Project manage events
About You

The right person for the role will:

  • Have previous experience working in a senior EA role or equivalent supporting at C-suite level 
  • Bring excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be able to demonstrate a capability to anticipate workloads, events and issues to prepare the COO for future engagements and accountabilities.
  • Bring with them a solid understanding and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Be able to multitask and adapt quickly in a challenging and pressured environment
  • Have excellent planning and organising skills, with an emphasis on priority management
  • Come with proven integrity at operating at a Senior /Executive level with the ability to keep Society and Operations confidences and know when discretion is required.
  • Have knowledge of budget management, control experience and financial sector experience would be desirable.
