Senior Analyst - Payment Regulations Compliance

About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Payments Change and Governance area for a Senior Analyst - Payment Regulations Compliance.
 

You'll have business and technical knowledge of payments risk and card scheme regulations within the UK. Coupled with analysis experience within a financial services environment you will maintain and continually improve our compliance, risk and controls infrastructure for the Society's payment services.

The role will involve undertaking risk assessments, analysis and engaging with technical/IT and non-technical stakeholders to identify review and recommend solutions to improve operational risks, issues and non-compliances for our processes and systems.  Ensuring that the Society remains operationally fit for purpose and compliant with relevant statutory and regulatory payment requirements, including LINK and Visa card scheme rules and standards and providing reports to internal/external bodies.

About You
You'll have;
 
  • Experience of undertaking risk assessments, workshops and assurance/controls activity
  • Good knowledge and technical/IT understanding of payments risk and compliance
  • Experience in engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
 You'll  also
 
  • Have a working knowledge of payment and card scheme regulations, standards, rules and guidelines
  • Have a high level understanding of the systems and flows for processing payment and card transactions
