IT Service Management Analyst

About The Role
Are you looking to get into IT Service Management? Are you process oriented and keen to learn? If so this role could be for you.

You will be learning from and working alongside the Society’s Service Management team, across the breadth of service management disciplines including Change as a primary area, Asset and Config, Capacity and Service Management to name a few.

The role entails working in a “rotation” scheme between the different areas of IT Service and no two days will be the same.

You will be required to work at speed to understand processes, both IT and business to deliver timely and effective solutions to support the wider business. You’ll need an analytical mindset, be creative and have the ability to work in a flexible and agile way…..thinking outside the box and not being afraid to try different things.
About You
Role related knowledge:

• Microsoft Office 2010 minimum
• Previous experience within an ITIL-aligned service management environment an advantage
• Experience with an ITSM tool is desirable

Other essential information:

• Confidence and a positive can do attitude are a plus to support our “right first time” ethos
• Good communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills

Professional qualifications or essential experience required:

- Customer service background desirable, and/or IT experience.
- ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management an advantage.

Internally this role is known as Technical Analyst - IT Service.
