About the role

Coventry Building Society recently announced it has reached agreement to purchase The Co-operative Bank plc, subject to gaining regulatory approvals. As a result of this, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Specialist – Colleague Experience to join the Society’s Colleague Experience team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

The person in post will manage a variety of communications for the programme, including working closely with stakeholders across the business, and ensuring key messages for the journey ahead are shared and aligned to strategy.

The Senior Specialist – Colleague Experience will take ownership of timelines of communications, attending meetings with stakeholders to understand and prioritise pivotal information to be shared across different audiences.

About you

With experience in change communications management you’ll have strong communication, planning and prioritisation skills with the ability work on multiple initiatives simultaneously. You’ll have a proven track record of copywriting, creating reports and analysing data within a communications role.

You’ll have the ability to understand how to take information from different stakeholders and ensure any communication shared is aligned across the business with clarity and purpose. You’ll be resilient and adaptive to change, with an understanding of how to move with changing priorities and manage comms timelines accordingly.

With a proactive mindset you’ll actively look for communications opportunities that support both corporate and local priorities. You’ll have excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to understand different audiences, collaborate on content and be able to communicate your messages for multiple audiences in the appropriate format.
