Summary

About the role

You’ll join an established team responsible for hardware and software fulfilment across the Society, and performing troubleshooting activities to find appropriate resolutions to user incidents and problems.

This role will support the development of our device lifecycle management roadmap, ensuring that end user hardware is maintained and refreshed in line with our definitions. The overall process will include.

  •  Onboarding of new devices into the CMDB and Asset Register
  • Building and configuring new devices
  • Provisioning of new devices to our Colleagues
  • Preparing old devices for decommissioning with our third party

There will also be a requirement to support with individual user requirements such as troubleshooting any issues experienced when colleagues receive their new hardware.

You’ll be working with stakeholders from across the business, as-well as specialist teams within CIDO to make the programme a success. You’ll also be able to influence and build process improvements along the way.

This role requires the successful candidate to be onsite every day in the Coventry office.

About you

You’ll be a fast learner, able to pivot and adapt to business needs as demands change. You’ll pride yourself on delivering quality products and providing excellent customer service to the business. You’ll need an eye for detail to ensure that processes are clearly defined and followed. Having a growth mindset will also allow you to spot opportunities where plans and processes could be more efficient based on the existing ways of working.

You’ll need excellent face to face communication skills, and you’ll be able to translate technical IT descriptions to non-technical colleagues, in clear and understandable terms.
