About the role

Coventry Building Society has an exciting new role for a Resourcing & Partnerships Officer within CIDO.

The role holder will support the resourcing of CIDO resources to meet strategic objectives, engaging with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and influencing outcomes. Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal stakeholder and relationship building with external resourcing partners to ensure that Coventry Building Society are considered a partner of choice.

In the support of CIDO, the role holder will provide line management style support to third party resources, compiling service schedules and augmentation resources and ensure that these are managed effectively. Take responsibility for efficient on-boarding, induction and off boarding activities and provide the CIDO Leadership team with management information, support, and guidance to ensure that the CIDO headcount is compliant, effective, well utilised and delivers value.

Maintaining service business continuity and resilience you will be expected to work across all three team disciplines (Third Party, Permanent and Contingent resourcing). Taking a flexible approach to workload management and have the ability to continuously maintain your skills and knowledge in all three disciplines.

This role requires you to be based in Coventry at least 1 day a week on a Wednesday. With flexibility to be onsite for collaboration with peers and other CIDO events.

About you

You will be responsible for the line management of third-party resources via Society system and will act as the point of contact for any operational queries. Taking responsibility, for the management of the engagement, managing extensions, the leavers processes and on-boarding/ off-boarding for third parties and contingent.

For this role you will need to have:

  • You’ll maintain effective relationships with multiple external and internal resourcing partners, attending regular meetings to brief requirements and gain progress updates.
  • You’ll gain understanding of technology/access pre-requisites and where necessary highlight contractual issues and agree process improvement plans.
  • You’ll be able to work closely with Supplier Relationship Managers on procurement and supplier management activities, including contractual due diligence.
  • You’ll maintain accurate data and deliver insightful MI tracking recruitment.
  • With a focus on taking the initiative and developing original ideas to old problems, you’ll be proactive, with a growth mind-set; developing your skills and learning will come naturally and the ability to deliver under pressure and to tight time scales.

Experience in these areas would also be helpful:

  • You’ll be able to manage the quarterly headcount budget, monitoring professional services Statements of Work and complete regular Data Management reviews.
