About the role

We are now looking for a Senior Collections Strategy Analyst to join our newly formed Collections Strategy & Performance team. This role will be responsible for the daily and monthly execution of collections strategies, control routines and MI across the Group’s portfolios (secured, unsecured, SME and end-of-term IO). The role turns data into actionable insight, ensuring strategies deliver fair, sustainable customer outcomes within risk appetite while meeting commercial objectives.

The role holder will look after the strategy design and daily / monthly strategy execution and implement approved strategy changes in line with change control and testing standards. It will also be responsible for producing and owning regular MI packs/dashboards covering arrears flow and roll rates, cure, forbearance effectiveness, contact success and outcome indicators, as well as investigating trends and drivers and recommend actionable changes.

This role can operate from either our Head Office campus in Binley, Coventry or our Manchester office but as a Group role, travel to both locations will be required. A team-led hybrid working arrangement is in place.

About you

 For this role you’ll need to have:
  • SAS and / or SQL experience.
  • Experience of either secured and / or unsecured collections.
  • Skilled in translating data and MI analysis into meaningful information.
  • Experience producing MI dashboards and automated reports
  • Confident in persuading and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong knowledge of UK regulatory expectations.

Desirable experience will be:

  • Understanding of the importance of customer care
  • Mortgage collections and consumer duty
