About the role

We’re looking for a Data & MI Senior Analyst to strengthen the quality, consistency and impact of data across the CIDO function.

The role maintains accurate base data that underpins all planning and MI, while leading the transformation of how resource information is stored, managed and reported. Agreed data standards, validations and reconciliations are applied to ensure information remains reliable, easy to extract and free from unnecessary manual handling.

The position streamlines MI outputs, including heatmaps and RAG views, ensuring insights are delivered quickly and efficiently. It also oversees the selection and adoption of new tools to enhance the capture, processing and reporting of data. Close collaboration with CIDO leadership ensures business needs are translated into meaningful MI and data solutions, all supported by a single, trusted source of truth.

In addition, the role defines and embeds the policies, procedures and standards that guide data governance and MI use across the function.

LocationWe operate on a team led hybrid approach with at least day a week (on a Wednesday) in the Coventry or Manchester officeAdditional flexibility also required for team events and collaborative working.

About you

You’re passionate about building vibrant communities, dismantling silos and using communications as a connective force that empowers high-performing teams to thrive together. You’re a visionary communicator with deep expertise in colleague engagement, internal communications and cultural transformation.

You'll excel in improving data quality, simplifying complex information and enabling smarter decision‑making across a fast‑paced environment.
 
For this role you’ll need to have:
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of VBA coding and Power Query 
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of Excel 
  • Data visualisation and dashboards such as Tableau or PowerBI
  • Communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas simply and tell the story through data 
  • Commercial awareness with ability to question and challenge and put forward new ideas 
  • Stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and gain buy in through key working relationships 
Experience in these areas would be helpful:
  • A passion for ensuring the business delivers a great customer service and experience.
  • Understanding the affect on the end user and insight into the customer perspective and experience.
  • AI Tooling.
  • Coaching and developing others.
