Summary

About the role

This is a newly created, high-profile leadership role that will give someone the opportunity to build and lead Coventry Building Society Group's Healthcare banking proposition.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the Group's Healthcare sector strategy, growing relationships across the market and helping establish Coventry Building Society as a trusted banking partner within the healthcare industry. They will also play a key role in shaping how sector-specialist banking develops across the wider Corporate & Commercial Banking business.

The role combines strategy, business development, relationship management and leadership. A large part of the position involves identifying and winning new business opportunities, managing senior client and adviser relationships, and leading lending transactions typically ranging from £3m to £25m. The individual will work closely with internal teams including Risk, Treasury, Product, Legal, Finance and Operations to ensure opportunities are delivered safely and effectively.

This is not a traditional leadership role, we are looking for someone who can create and deliver a sector growth strategy, build market credibility, influence senior stakeholders and help shape, lead and deliver the future direction of Corporate & Commercial Banking.

This role offers the opportunity to initiate, influence and own strategy, drive business growth, build a specialist team and become a recognised leader within the healthcare banking market.
